Today we celebrated Grandpa Cichon's Birthday! We went up to Colorado Springs and had a great dinner made by Ann McCance, Tom's Sister. Uncle John, Aunt Jeanne, Kathy, Danielle, Beth, Monica, Nicole, Greg, Aunt Ann, Uncle Shawn, Therese, Michael, Sarah, Johnny, Joey, and Uncle Gerry, were all there. And don't forget the birthday cake! Here are a couple of pics of Caleb and his Grandma and Grandpa Cichon.

Valentine's Day Activities
Valentine's Day is a special day for our family. Not only is it a day of romance, but it is Grandpa Cichon's Birthday! We celebrated all weekend for the most part. Tom detoured from his traditional Valentine's gift for me-- he boils for me! Meaning, he makes a special candlelight dinner made up of all things boiled, like artichokes for appetizers, and lobster and crab legs for dinner, even boiled potatoes and veggies! Amazing how many things taste good boiled! But I digress-- this year, he made us reservations in Canon City at an Italian restaurant called Merlino's Belvedere. A Fourth generation restaurant with exquisite food! They had a special Chef's Night of "tantalizing exotic tastes to provoke sensual emotions of love" (that was on the menu) It was a 7 course meal that took two hours to eat! Everything from steak, pasta, lobster latee (kind of a bisque), to almond custard floating in almond milk with rasperries and Belgium chocolate. Every course came with chef's choice of wine as well. It was a wonderful evening!
Caleb had a good time as well! He spent the evening with his best friend Mason Shepard, watching "Horton Hears A Who" and eating popcorn! Brandi said they actually sat and watched the show for a long time--at least long time in baby time! Here is a pic of the two boys watching the show, sitting with Bunny and Lammy, their prospective pals!

A Day At The Zoo!
On Friday, Mommy and Caleb went to the Pueblo Zoo! Caleb loved all the animals, especially the penguins! He is totally into the movie, "Happy Feet", and it was so funny watching him show the penguins how to do the Happy Feet dance!
In the petting zoo area, they have a huge concrete egg to take pictures with, and Caleb was mad because he couldn't roll it onto his feet to carry it
like the penguins do in the movie!!
We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and Caleb walked the entire zoo! Toward the end, he was so tired he was tripping over his feet! But all he kept saying was "no ride momma, walk. No tired" It was a really nice sunny 50 degree day, so all the animals were out and active--much better than in the summer months.
Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Jido's Magical Touch!

Jido came up to see us this weekend and he gave us a suggestion on the toddler bed issue--you just need to have the magical touch!! And, yes, Jido does indeed have that touch, especially with his Calebee! Right to bed for Jido!
New bed ohh boy!

Well, as I was saying earlier, Calebee is getting to be such a big boy now. He is two, and we just reached a new challenge--sleeping in our toddler bed!! My perfect, I fall asleep in five minutes baby, has now become my I love my freedom baby and it now takes about an hour to convince him to stay in his bed!! Any, and I mean ANY, helpful suggestions would be welcome on this!! I am hoping it's a newness thing and it will eventually wear off!

My Business Partners!

Here is Brandi Shepard, my friend and audiologist colleague, who is as sweet as a kitten until you cross her! LOL! She is passionate about her family, friends, and business and will do just about anything to protect them! She is true and loyal and fair, even if life is not fair!
Tom Cichon, my loving husband and also a business partner, is pretty much the same as the above!! Makes for some pretty passionate office meetings, or meetings of the minds, as I like to call them! I am the quiet one who listens to both, and often rely on the wisdom of the other quiet partner Todd, Brandi's husband to help me bring everyone full circle!!
The great thing, for anyone that knows me well, is that since I have these two awesome, outgoing, and opinionated individuals in my life, I the quiet one, am well protected without raising my own voice! How lucky can someone get!

Hi Everybody! Hope you all are having a great day! My business, HearAid Audiology Clinic, just finished up an open house week last week, which was long and grueling, but ultimately profitable for the company. Most importantly, we met and made alot of nice new friends/customers who greatly appreciated the newfound hearing!! The open house showcased the latest technology in the hearing aid world and our new patients really seemed to benefit from it! One patient even teared up! It is so exciting that this technology has come such a long way, and even more exciting that we, my business associate and very good friend Brandi Shepard, can be a part of it! For those of you that I haven't talked to in a while, HearAid has been in business since August 2007 and going strong since! It is alot of hard work but sooooo worth it! Brandi and I have worked out our schedule so that we each work full time, yet are at the office only three days a week each, allowing our office to be open all week and allowing us to be with our babies four days a week! Works so far!! And I can't forget Tom. He is definitely the best business and office manager around. (Or, Worthy Master as he likes to be called)! He works full time at the office and then at night at home alot too!
